iOS 4 is free, which is great, the only thing is when you have an iPhone 2G : you can't install it on your 1st-generation iPhone , it wont be able to run iOS 4 Multitasking.
iOS 4 is available for the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and the 2nd and 3rd-generation iPod touch but the original iPhone 2G and 1st-generation iPod touch are not able to upgrade to iOS 4,
All the new features in iOS 4 are only available for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and the 3rd-generation iPod touch . So what do we do with our iPhone 2G ? We save it for later ?
I wonder if an iPhone 2G is going to last forever, like a Fridge in the 50 or the cars in Cuba.
Maybe in 10 years from now it will be a master piece in some private collection but what should we do for now with something that is still working pretty well ? Trash it ? Buy an iPhone 5 ? Steve Jobs any answer ?
